Jennifer Lopez showed off her dancer’s legs while leaving a recording studio in New York City on Friday.
The Let’s Get Loud singer, 54, wore a tiny black leather shorts with a cream cowl neck sweater and faux fur coat as she posed in front of a van with the logo for her new album and movie This is Me…Now: A Love Story emblazoned on it.
JLo paired her skirt and sweater with sheer black hose and sky-high black platform shoes. She wore her hair slicked back into a sleek low ponytail and accessorized with large gold earrings and sunglasses with ombre lenses.
During her busy day the star also joined Apple Music Radio host Ebro Darden and Ja Rule to chat about her projects.
The appearance of the former Super Bowl halftime performer comes on the same day as the release of her self-financed film on Amazon Prime Video, which is getting rave reviews from fans.

The site Rotten Tomatoes gave the film a decent 75% rating and fans have given the film that cost $16 million to make a 90% rating.
The film and album are inspired by her rekindling her relationship with her now husband Ben Affleck, 51.
‘A true masterpiece! This was so unique and cool. I’ve never seen something like this before. Not your typical “movie” and boy is that refreshing. I was engaged and intrigued the entire time…can’t say that too often these days with the over saturated streaming services that have become boring and non attention grabbing,’ a fan gushed.
They continued: ‘Jennifer has made something that no other artist has ever made. This is truly a unique experience and I’m so happy she has forged an entirely new genre of film making…I’m loving this story telling continuous music video/movie/love story of her life. Extremely relatable. A must see.’
‘The whole thing is infectious,’ one fan wrote, adding ‘It’s hard not to be immediately swept up in such an over-the-top, campy vision, lost in some eye-popping visuals and wondering what new piece of insanity is around the next turn.’
Another fan wrote: ‘Fans of Jennifer Lopez should enjoy This is Me…Now as its filled with her brand of music and dance. You’ll notice some classic J. Lo musical riffs, costuming, and her new songs like the title track are catchy.’
‘One thing to glean from Lopez’s journey of love is that it takes strength to be a hopeless romantic. It takes exceptional grit and resilience to pursue love despite numerous heartbreaks,’ a third commenter shared.
Meanwhile, film critics have mostly panned the film calling it self-indulgent and ‘resolutely, painfully autobiographical.’
Ratings were scored just two out of five stars by the The Standard, The Guardian and The Independent with many tearing into the ‘truly chaotic’ plot, while others slammed the star for spending so much on what they thought was essentially ‘a vanity project.’
